About the Accelerated Bachelor's Degree Program:

Sports Management is a career field concerned with the business aspects of sports, preparing you for several aspects of sports management, from operations, player personel, sports agency, marketing, ticket sales, game day operations, facilities management, finance, public relations and event management with a collegiate or professional team, non profit sports organizations, retail (NIKE, Addidas, Bauer, Li Ning, etc.), sports governing bodies, bowl game organizations, NCAA, and many more.

Opportunities: 

The major is designed to prepare students for careers in sports business, marketing of sports, and services, as well as the field of recreational and leisure. Students will master event operations, marketing, management, and communication as each pertains to the sports industry. 

Career opportunities range from working within a sports team or organization, to working in sports media or sports law, managing recreational programs or managing a fitness center. Professional sports clubs and teams hire people who are already trained in producing sports revenue and who have marketing skills that are specific to ticketing, sponsorships, event planning, and marketing. This degree will provide you with a skill set and the competitive edge to distinguish yourself in the sports business field. 

Length and Format:

  • Online, 18 months or less to complete the major based on your transfer credit from a regionally accredited institution. This will be evaluated and applied towards your degree completion.

Course Schedule: 

Online: Students complete all coursework and discussions online. Students take one class at a time for eight weeks. Elective courses include Sports Management Worldwide Courses.

Tuition: 

Accelerated Bachelor’s Degree Completion courses are $475 per semester hour. Total cost of finishing your Bachelors degree will be based on transfer credits accepted from regionally accredited institution. Most courses are worth three credits. Thirty-eight credits are required to complete the major coursework. Payment is due at the start of each term.
