Born and raised in Amsterdam, Maikel played professionally for eight years in the Netherlands, Spain, and the U.S., including time in the MLS. He holds a degree in Business Management from Hawaii Pacific University and is a licensed FIFA agent with extensive experience negotiating contracts in MLS, USL, the EPL, and leagues around the globe.
