Higher Education Must Change - We Already Have!

Boston University, a private, residential research university with 33,000 students, sits on 169 acres in one of the areas most affected by the current coronavirus pandemic. As of April 21st, Massachusetts is the 3rd most-affected state in the US, with over 39,000 confirmed cases and 1809 deaths.

BU had no choice but to close their campus in March and adjust to this new reality, forcing students to break from their familiar campus routines and return home, leaving the books and classroom lectures behind.

By mid-April, BU became the first school to acknowledge that starting the fall semester on campus is not a certainty, and they are considering January 2021 for a logical return date to campus.

The future of the traditional on-campus education system is in chaos. The end of social distancing is not in sight, and a return to campus life is far in the distance.

BU isn’t alone.

These schools that have become such a dependable and predictable step in life’s journey, are ill-prepared for this change and will struggle to find a new way of operating, despite the answer being right in front of them.

Sports Management Worldwide Stands Alone

The needed changes to the education system are obvious, but far from easy.

Every school around the globe needs to shift to an online learning environment, which is easier said than done. There is special expertise that is needed for online learning, it is not as simple as posting videos online and adding assignments to Canvas.

We know this first hand!

For the last two decades at Sports Management Worldwide, we have been refining the science of online learning. We have learned by doing.

Our courses and advanced degree programs today are far different from when we started because we’ve had 140,000 test cases! Our alumni have been teaching us for 20 years what works and what doesn’t, and we’ve listened and refined our processes.

Take an 8-week online course with Sports Management Worldwide and you will receive an immersive learning experience, with live audio chats, interactive chatrooms, direct contact with your course mentor, assignments, guidance and much more.

We have mastered this process, and our alumni, who are currently working in every major professional and collegiate sports league, are the proof of concept.

The Future of Education Has to Start Now!

Even if, by some scientific miracle, schools are able to return to campus in fall, the damage may already be done. With families across the globe taking a huge financial hit, enrollments in expensive, on-campus institutions are certain to be down.

Most families will look for more affordable options. Options like Sports Management Worldwide.

Our online courses and degree programs are all online, which is the correct social distance, and affordable.

Course mentors at Sports Management Worldwide are subject experts, not research assistants.
